Land Reforms and Empowerment: Under N. Chandrababu Naidu

In the transformative landscape of Andhra Pradesh, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), under the visionary leadership of N. Chandrababu Naidu, has implemented pioneering initiatives to ensure land rights, correct land records, and responsibly manage government land. Two key programmes, CJFS to DKT and PURE, exemplify the TDP's commitment to land reforms, empowerment, and transparent governance.

Under the Co-operative Joint Farming Societies (CJFS) to DKT programme, an impressive 60,505 members, including legal heirs and landless individuals, have been approved for the issuance of D-form Pattas over 66,276 acres in 10 Assembly Constituencies. Crucially, this initiative includes 38,307 Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) beneficiaries. Calculating the benefit at Rs. 10.00 lakhs per acre, this initiative amounts to a substantial Rs. 6,626 crore being directed towards the welfare of the poorest of the poor. This move is emblematic of the TDP's commitment to inclusive development and ensuring that the marginalised sections of society are active participants in the economic growth of the state. Additionally, the Purification of Land Records (PURE) initiative, operating under the banner of Mee Bhoomi Ke Bharosa, has identified and rectified discrepancies in land records. With 17.01 lakh mistakes identified across five categories, an impressive 96% of these issues have been processed, and 47% have been rectified. This programme reflects the TDP's commitment to ensuring accuracy and transparency in land records, a critical aspect of sustainable land management. The Alienation of Government Lands initiative has further solidified the TDP leader's commitment to responsible land governance. A total of 7,477 acres of government land have been alienated for five different projects, including allocations to the Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) and the Andhra Pradesh Township and Infrastructure Development Corporation (APTIDCO).
